Large rooms for a price on a par with downtown hotels. Good views of the golf course although they start mowing at 5am. Best feature is the WAX bus from the parking lot - $2 and 20 minutes to Fremont Street.

This resort is quite a ways south on the strip, but offers a lot for very little money. The atmosphere is down to earth, almost like a local joint. Just as we tried to check in, their computer system went down, and the staff gave us free drinks while they fixed it. Our experience the next few days here made us forget all about that trouble, though. The rooms are gigantic with nice bathrooms, and very clean and new-looking. Between the buffet, bowling alley, arcade, and the car auction that was there at the time, we nearly forgot about the mayhem of the strip. Overall, this is a great option, and I hope to stay here the next time I'm in Vegas.

We stayed here for the first time in July 2002, and it was just super. The food was so good that we never dined out. The price can't be beat and they'll shuttle you to the strip if you want to go there. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a lot of bang for the buck. The view was fantastic, and the clientele were mature -- not a bunch of young teens who just want to cruise the strip.

We LOVED our stay here!! While the room isn't in the same class as the Venetian or the Bellagio, it was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a view of the mountains/golf course, which was fine with us. The bathroom was average-sized and adequate. We didn't visit the pool, but we could see it from our window and it looked fine and pretty deserted. The best thing, though, was the service. Everyone we encountered there was very pleasant and helpful! We checked in at 9 a.m. on a Friday not expecting to get in our room for awhile, but we got in immediately. Not only that, we asked for and received a room very close to the elevator. The coffee shop and the buffet were both very good and we loved playing the machines with the paper receipts instead of the coins. It's our new "favorite" hotel/casino in Vegas and can't wait to go back :)

Very large room and bathroom. Nicely appointed. Some great views with floor-to-ceiling windows.
