I've stayed at PH three times now. The first time I wasn't too impressed as the room sucked. I gave it another try on my next trip and very much improved stay. The third trip again I had a real nice time.
I love that most things are within walking distance from PH. The night life in the casino is sexy. You'll see a fair number of lovely ladies walking around. The hotel band at PH bar in the casino is fun to stop at during the night to grab a drink and listen to the live band. I'm heading back to PH a fourth time in August 2015.
Had a wonderful time this past week staying at Planet Hollywood while attending a conference. We actually booked two rooms, one for ourselves and one for students attending the conference.
Check-in was smooth and easy and Harry was the gentleman that checked us in and we couldn't have asked for a more wonderful and polite experience. When we checked out 5 days later he immediately remembered us as we approached the desk. He had helped us when we requested a specific view from our room and when we were checking out he asked if we enjoyed the views.
We could lay in our bed and watch the Bellagio Fountains.
Planet Hollywood is a great location and has the added benefit of having the Miracle Mall attached. It was especially great when we had students with us who could run down to the various stores to get things. It's also easy to get to the monorail by walking next door to Paris and walking through Bally's to catch it to the convention center.
There are a lot of great restaurants available in Planet Hollywood and the mall. You always feel safe while in the casino and mall.
Even though it does seem to focus on attracting a younger crowd, it was still pleasant for us (and we are in our 50's).
I've stayed in several hotels along the strip and this was my second stay in Planet Hollywood and this is where I plan to stay when I come back.
The only negative I can think of is the carpet in the hallways is beginning to show wear and needs updating and the chairs in the rooms need to be replaced. However everything else was great and clean. We had a large room (about 550 sq. ft.) with two vanities in the bathroom and separate large bath tub and large shower. As I said earlier the room was wonderful with a strip view and we enjoyed being able to lay in bed and watch the fountains.
Everyone we encountered that worked there was polite and helpful. And Harry was absolutely wonderful at check-in which just started our Las Vegas experience off on a great note!!!
We just left this amazing hotel. Friendly and very helpful staff. Miracle mile shops was everything you could want - we were amazed that we never left the complex for the day as there was so much to see and do.. Can't wait to come back.
This hotel remains good value. One tip, if you have a strip view, the noise coming from the Cosmo and the upgraded PH pool is unbearable
Good room, great service. Would stay here again!!
Just returned from a guys trip to PH and overall we enjoyed ourselves. The location of this property is great. We did not spend much money on cabs because PH is within walking distance of many great properties. Our hotel room was not fancy, but it was nice and comfortable. The view from the room was solid (part of the Bellagio fountain, newly repaired Paris balloon and the Eiffel Tower). Weird annoying thing for me was the carpet in the hallways has big wrinkles in them, so you have to be careful on your late night walk to your room. The casino itself is fun, but late night it can become a bit too much like a nightclub atmosphere. We liked the bar at the sports book and ended up spending a lot of time there playing video poker and watching games we wagered on. The only place that we ate inside PH was Earl of Sandwich and it was great. We enjoyed our stay at the Planet Hollywood. It was a great value and we will stay here again.
Hallways were dark and gloomy. Furniture was broken in room. Great casino but I would not return.
Slightly above average room was much improved by the complimentary upgrade to Bellagio Fountain View.
Great hotel, good service.
Loved this place, can't wait to go back!
Not surprising that this property has gone downhill since Caesars bought it. Deferred maintenance means filthy hallways, scuff marks on every wall and an over all dirty feeling. The room itself was fine as far as cleanliness, but the layout is strange and the rooms are small for a modern Vegas hotel. Earl of Sandwich continues to be this properties saving grace.
Pool closed on the day we were going to check it out, with almost no notice, and stayed closed for the remainder of the week for some grand opening party for the important people. So we never even got to try it.
There are three things good about this casino. First, the Earl of Sandwich is a great place to grab a meal. Second, the Miracle Mile mall is pretty huge and it is equipped with shops for anyone. Third, you can't beat the location of PH, it's smack dab right in the middle of the Strip so it's within walking distance of everything. With all that said, PH is the worst hotel I've stayed in Vegas. The room we stayed in ended up being a handcapped room. The front desk was not apologetic and told us we would have to wait until the next day to switch rooms. We decided to tough it out because we didn't want to get settled in and spend precious Vegas time messing with the switch. It was tacky and Star Trek themed room also--yuck. The room was altogether pretty old, outdated and dirty. When we went to take a shower we noticed a huge difference. The shower head was halfway down the wall. When we turned the water on high, the shower head detached from it's holder and went crazy. Another problem with PH is the too expensive/crowded tables and the whole "club" scene. I mean, i'm 23 and i love to party but it was like Jersey Skanky Shore every night--and not in a good way. Not classy, not even decent looking people. Needless to say, we made a huge joke of our entire stay at PH and you couldn't pay me to stay there again. We did have a hell of a time playing cheap craps in nearby Bill's and we might visit the mall or Earl of Sandwich next time we are in Sin City, but all in all, bad casino, horrible hotel.
Loved the p-ho. Check in was fast and efficient. Drink service in the casino was great. They had a good and varied selection of slots. Room was adequate to good, with a nice view of the fountain show at Bellagio. Diamond lounge is a nice, almost secret, gem. I will definitely be back.
I think that the only thing going for this property is it's location and The Earl of Sandwich. The music is great during the day but after 7pm the place turns into a freakin night club. Music is turned up way too loud and playlist is limited to hip-hop and club music. Also, the clientele are mostly young and the barely 21 year olds won't stop "whooping" even if they only won 10 bucks. Check in was fast cause they had at least 9 windows open. Very good drink service.
Stayed there for ten nights for my honeymoon. Great location right in middle of strip. Worst check in experience I've had in Vegas, or anywhere else. So first impression of hotel was disappointing. However after the check in we enjoyed our stay. Had a great view but we moved rooms twice, view in first room was very poor. Really enjoyed miracle mile and earl of sandwich offered great food at very reasonable prices.
Stayed at planet hollywood westgate, standard room. Nice room with a lot of modern ammenaties. Pool was ok at best. Defenately better ones out there. A lot better. Avoid the concierge desk as all they want is to get you into a timeshare presentation. Nice mall, nice casino. Would stay there again, great location on the strip, right in the middle.
Cool spot. We actually stayed in the Westgate Tower of Planet Hollywood. Great room with hottub in bedroom with awesome views of the city and desert. Also has an inroom washer/dryer. Would totally stay here again
PH is the only place I stay at now. The location is great and walking distance to alot of attractions and hotels. The miracle mile shops is inside the same building which is convenient. Since it's at the center of the strip the cab rides to our destinations are minimal. Never had one bad experience here yet and planning on coming here again for a very long time.
Amazing casino and hot girls everywhere. I'm staying here next time simply for the location, price and overall vibe in the place. They also have the best party pit in Vegas known as the pleasure pit! Even the dealers are all hot and done up. PH knows how to set a great party mood!
Good place. No problem checking in or out. Miracle mile is a plus. For the cost good location on the strip!!
Planet Hollywood is great in my opinion. I have always booked a comped Hollywood hip room and been upgraded to a resort room with $20 to the clerk at check in. This room is substantially larger and has double sink, plus a bench in the shower. Video poker at the bar tops suck!!! With ddb being a 6/5 pay table but 9/5 can be found on the floor. Miracle Mile shopping is also connected to it.
Stayed for two nights at Westgate. We were originally supposed to stay in a suite on the 24th floor but was offered an upgrade to the 54th floor for $10 more a night. The accommodations were very nice. Every kingly feature of the suite was as described and the view was superb. I have never been higher up or seen such a beautiful city night skyline as Las Vegas from this suite. The service and security of the towers at Westgate was amazing and I give everything about this building 5 stars. Clean, comfortable, accommodating and simply amazing.
I liked this hotel for the big room and the Miracle Mile. I don't think I would stay here again, though. When I checked in I was told I had a good view of the strip, but all I saw was a rooftop, building site, and a wall to my left. I could see a small slice of the strip to my right. However, when I called they readily changed our room. We ended up with a great view of the Bellagio fountains, and Paris hotel sites. Still, I was not impressed with someone's old dirty flip flops left under the chair. This hotel was just okay.
Awesome spot. Had a great time. The girls of the Pleasure Pit make it exciting just walking through the casino. Miracle mile is great too. Will stay here every time
Absolutely fabulous hotel. Room was very nice and we were lucky enough to have a wonderful strip view. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful at all times. The casino itself can be a little confusing to get around at first but you learn your way around. Definitely built more towards my age group(20's/low 30's). Not a bad location. Not quite middle of the strip but close. Would absolutely stay here again.
Forgot to mention in my earlier post that we had agreat experience while checking in due the wonderful service. I believe the name of the lady helping us wad Vicki.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is probably because I'm a little older than the clientele they are focusing on but I would still stay here. It's a little louder in the casino than I like but the hotel is great--rooms are very nice and most of all service is excellent. An added plus is the connection to the Miracle Mile Mall! Other than the noise level in the casino I love Planet Hollywood.
Fab hotel great location very enjoyable stay however booked a cabana at pool for $600 and was led to believe we had bottle service up until 6pm we were told vodka and rum plus soft drinks were included in package and was very dissapointed that after the first bottle of vodka we had to pay which we were badly informed with the staff selling the package to us I think it was a rip off so b careful when booking. Other than that I would defo book this hotel again
Great hotel! Was originally at Ballys- awful awful. Was moved by management to PH. This hotel has it all and only a elevator ride away. Will stay again for sure!
Fun! Didn't win, but it's a young, mostly fun crowd ( some d bags). Highly recommend Yolo's Mexican too! You can get dressed up and dance while you gamble! Or rock shorts and a tank. Loved it here!
Good Rate. I bought the Facebook Rate at $56.00 which included the tax. NO RESORT FEE! The Bed Comfy! View of side of Paris Balloon and their Valet area and the Bellagio fountains from the GET SHORTY ROOM on the 15 floor. I expected a view of a wall for that cheap price. What I did not like is the shower part, cannot choose the water pressure. Bathtub is a GODSEND! Deep and Relaxing! Smooth elevator rides. Check-out quick and easy, via TV or check-out desk or the Quick Exit boxes, or just leave the key on the desk for the maid. The business desk could of used a dusting. Comfy chair to sit in and watch the Las Vegas BLVD.
Stayed in room 1830. Room was HUGE but much of the space is wasted in the foyer and a bathroom bigger than necessary. The bathroom counters are so deep I couldn't get close enough to the mirror to put on my makeup. I won't complain about the glass-doored shower with a bench seat or the deep soaking tub and the endless hot water. The king bed was comfortable as were the two large armchairs. Clothing storage is way inadequate; a large armoire with a small closet and two TINY drawers. The big flat screen TV was nice. Housekeeping is excellent and got a generous tip. Downside to this place is the daily fee for wi-fi and the incredibly overpriced food. The Earl of sandwich is the exception to this. If you're 25 years old or less, this is the place for you! Just so happened we were here for Spring break and were quickly updated on how people in that age group party these days.
Stayed 6 nights. Internet is 15 a day PER DEVICE... The spice market buffet was good for breakfast. Bed was comfortable and the room was inviting. Koi nightclub was more of a laugh than a real nightclub...I gave it 4 stars because of the location, I had a fountain view room of the Bellagio, it was an awesome view! A couple of the drawers and doors for them were missing. I would stay here again, the value was good for 6 nights it was 600
Paid avg $150 for three nights over presidents day weekend. Drove six hours. Told me only smoking rooms were available. I wanted non smoking. Staff very unprofessional. Made no concessions, offered no solutions, basically said whatever. Poor outcome for customers as we had stay in smoke filled room. I had a coughing fit in the middle of the night, I coughed up black bits from my lungs, and subsequently received a bad bloody nose after trying to clear my nose of smoke. Badly trained staff is bad management. Registration blasts music all day long. I'd be in a bad mood too if my entire shift is in this loud environment.
I have been coming to Vegas for years and stay almost exclusively at PH. The hotel has great sized rooms and good value for money. I suggest you request a room in the south tower, as it is a little quieter, but not quite as good views. Since being taken over by Harrahs, I have noticed the front desk is not as well staffed and the check-in lines have become much longer. Room service can also be a 60-90 minute wait at busy times. The Miracle Mile stores offer a good range of stores and reasonable prices. The only thing you miss out on here is a good pool. It's small and well worn when compared to other hotels.
Really good looking place. I really enjoy the vibe of it. Miracle mile is neat too.
Like the Casino, good video poker. Liked the old poker room back by the high limit slots better, a little too loud in the new location. Overall nice vibe, compared to the Alladin. Hopefully it stays this way.
Outstanding location and nearby amenities if you aren't looking for uber-luxury. Rooms are clean and have a cool, funky design. Staff is generally very attentive. Tons of low cost food options and retail connected to the property.
Stayed here for 10 nights our first stay in Vegas. Hotel was lovely, had a hollywood hip room overlooking the bellagio fountains. Comfy beds, plenty storage space and huge bathroom- loved having a bath as well as a shower! Location on the strip was ideal and having the miracle mile shops attached was great. We made good use of having the abc store so close by. The only downside was I didn't find the staff all that pleasant- had a right snippy woman at the roulette table in the passion pit and we were not offered a drink once. Would go back though.
Just got back tonight. Stayed in a resort vista room at PH for 4 nights. View was incredible. Everything was great. The only thing I think they can improve on is a little more variety on the machines in the casino. Great location, good crowds. Highly recommended!
Stayed twice in the last year. Our favorite Strip Hotel/Casino. Location, casino floor, food and Miracle Mile Mall make this the most convenient and enjoyable set up. You can't go wrong when the ABC Store, Fountains of Bellagio and hot chicks are all nearby!
Excelente hotel!
Excellant. At PH for four days. Long line to check in had to wait almost 30 mins to get to desk. Tried the $20 upgrade and was given money back. Didn't need it. Upgraded from a strip view room booked under $70 a night (400sq ft room) to a 160 degree suite above the 30th floor. Overlook Paris and unrestricted view of the Bellsgio Fountains. I travel on business to Vegas alot but this is vacation with the wife. I already liked PH and recommended to others. This just continues to show how good their customer service is.
Am at ph now. Have had a blast & it is a great casino very nice staff. After staying at virtually all the Vegas casinos this one is tops right there with Paris IMO
Just arrived home after a week in ph. Thus hotel / casino is fantastic. The $20 works here. We were upgraded to a resort vista suite from a hip room for free! On arrival, we recieved loads of vouchers. A free bottle of sky vodka. $40 free slot play ( we won over $100 from it!) and several other vouchers for the buffet, and other food and shopping places in the miracle mile. Overall a brilliant place to stay, with everything on the strip a short walk or escalator ride away. I would highly reccommend you stay here.
Stayed at PH last year on my first visit to Vegas. It is a beautiful modern property with a great location on the strip. All the rooms are themed after movie stars, we got the Dorothy Lamour room. If you're looking for a little more upscale hotel with a great location without too high of price this is a excellent choice!
Great place to stay, lots young crowd and the rooms are awesome, I stayed in westgate ph, 1bedroom suite was unbelievable, service needs to tight up here and there but what do u expected for 4 months old hotel. Overall it was really awesome and I will def. Recommend to stay there.
Very nice hotel and pretty ladies but the waitresses were not very good. We gambled for an hour before anyone asked us if we needed anything.
12 girls stayed here for a hen party!!! Great location, fantastic shopping at the Miracle Mile, brilliant customer service, lots of restaurants to choose from for food. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Stayed in Marcy 2010. Great looking, large room. Very comfortable. The casino has most everything you would want, with a mall that has good, affordable stuff.
The casino itself is noisier than the average casino.
I didn't actually stay at PH but visited it often and what a great place. The pleasure pit in PH is awesome and the attached miracle mile shopping complex is a must. When I go back to Vegas I'll definately be staying at Planet Hollywood.
Some things have slipped since Harrahs took over. The VP pay outs have gone down. Only one pit boss per pit (they need roller skates). Rooms are okay. But the vibe is still good.
I've stayed at Planet Hollywood twice, once in its Aladdin days.
Rooms and the casino are hip and modern. I had a "Fountain View Hollywood Hip" room which looked out over the PH pool deck, the Bellagio, and CityCenter (at the time, a huge construction site!)
Casino is one of my favorites in Vegas. Love the waitress uniforms, love the vibe in the casino. Always loud and fun. Drink service is pretty good.
I've never been in pool season, but I understand the pool is merely adequate, nothing more.
Overall, we were pretty happy with our stay. Location is Fantastic! Our main complaint was the inconsistency of the hot water in the bathroom. we were told to let the water run for 30 minutes so it could warm up. This was beyond inconvenient. The best part was, when the service technician told me, quote: "All West coast bathrooms need time to warm up." What a joke. Other than that, we were happy, and more than likely would stay there again. Maybe next time, we'll call ahead, and have our shower warmed and ready when we get there.
Room rating is back from the Aladdin Days, but at that time, we were impressed from the space and overall atmosphere. The pool was nothing overly special, lots of cement.
I've always been happy with the poker room. Not much of a room really, more of an area, but the tournaments are fun and relatively winnable if you are an average to above average player. Tends to be a bit younger of a crowd for tournaments and other gambling. Not that that is a bad thing, just know what type of people you will be bumping into. This is the Ed Hardy t-shirt crowd. Have fun counting the Ed-Hardy t-shirts (free entertainment). Go-Go dancers are a nice touch, just don't get caught staring too long (if your wife is with).
The hip rooms (formerly the hip-hop rooms) are fine, usually with a view of the strip, however--- the windows are tiny! It's like a 6X4 window to peer out of, if you can, upgrade your room, in my opinion. This is one of the best properties to stay at for a "guys trip" as over flirtatious women abound. The conga line that was famous in the black jack pit might be gone now that Harrah's has taken over, lets hope the most excellent Planet Dailies coffee shop remains. Easy mall acesss, with a quick right out of the mall to see the Amazing Johnathan, a must for a guys trip. The gay club Krave is in full effect connected property wise to the mall, but forcing a back door entry to Harmon. The only gay club on the strip, it offers heavy drinks and mostly undressed young men after 2 am. Straight people come here for the outrageous pours before staggering back into the casino.
This is one of the best Hotels to party in, but know what you're into- modern, clean but smokey and boozy casino action at night. This is what PHO offers and does it right!
Table players were courted and rewarded, but this will change under Harrah's. I hope the outstanding slot selection remains, as well as the excellent VP.
Stayed at PH Towers- not impressed will not be staying here again
Just came home from Vegas and enjoyed every minute. We stayed at Planet Hollywood and it was very accomodating. In the middle of the strip, price was good, cafe was great for breakfast, music was awesome. They could use some more light in the rooms, but very comfortable, great view, and large bathroom. They could also use some more help at check-in. Customer Service was very good overall and would recommend this as a great place to stay while in Vegas.
Loved PH Towers! So gorgeous...
Stayed here a few weeks ago. The rooms are huge, but very dark. The bathroom is awesome- I loved the big bathtub and separate shower and toilet. The only complaints I have are the poorly lit room and also no coffee maker in the room. If you go to Planet Dailies, order their meatloaf, it's the BEST! I would stay again.
Sleek, attractive gaming floor. Nice decor. Good selection of stores and entertainment.
Didn't stay there but had great fun night - best casino (Pleasure Pit) with top dancers to watch makes it a pleasure to lose your money! Spent a couple of hours chilling in the bar people watching - great venue!
Great location hotel is pretty close to everything important on the strip.Beds are comfy and casino is nice. The mall is pretty cool too,but for souvenir shoppers save yourself a ton and go shop at the little gift shops right past the Harley davidson cafe, you can't beat 4 tshirts for $10.cigarettes are also $5.50 a pack at the 7/11 shop.don't pay high hotel prices when u can save a ton a block away.but the hotel and casino alone is definately fun.
"Graham Lionel?" Is that even a real name? Obviously an Internet troll. There are a few of them on here.
Horrid, filthy, fetid & insulting, PH has no idea how to treat guests, and no idea how to cultivate repeat customers. The sooner it is closed down the better for all of us.
Stayed here on a comp in September. Fantastic location, great room and lots of options for food and drink.
Young, great beds, fab location. Casino is absolutely gorgeous! If you are looking for a younger crowd but on strip location as opposed to Hard rock or Palms P Ho should fit the bill.
I have stayed at this hotel and casino three times and it has been perfect everytime. The location ok the strip is unbeatable and the values that can be found in the casino and the mall are unmatched on vegas. The rooms are big and super comfortable. They are clean and always stocked with what you need. Planet Dailies is open 24/7 and is a great value. The casino is huge and very modern. I enjoyed gambling at planet Hollywood and the dealers are always willing to teach and guide you. I love to play pai pow and blackjack and they are the beat casino to play those games at. I will also say that KOI, in the planet Hollywood, was unvelivably good. Me and my friends had never had suhi and fell in love with it on our last trip.
I enjoyed my stay here. It was very nice and I love that they have a mall in this hotel. It was in the center of everything. Didn't even have to leave hotel to have fun.
We stayed at PH summer of 2008 as part of a promotional deal with their condo sales department. BIG MISTAKE. The rooms are so sad, the whole property is so confusing. Can't find your way around evern if you were to stay there for several weeks. The room had a suit worn by Burt Reynolds in some awful movie he made eons ago. Here was this white 3-piece suit in a plexiglass cover hanging of the wall. Gave me the creeps. Beds are more than uncomfortable. The only bright spot is PF Chang's. That's the ONLY bright spot....the pools were tragic, One was closed and the other one was open, but we didn't stay long. The pools are in the shade until the late afternoon. We only had to stay there for 3 nights (because of the HIGH PRESSURE sales pitch for their sad condos) so then we could go to THEhotel at Mandalay Bay and feel like valued customers. Sad you have to leave PH to feel valued....you surely will not feel that way staying at Planet Hollywood.
Horrible rooms, filthy hallways, and horrible desk service make reviewing the better aspects of this property difficult. Yes, the casino looks nice, and the food is OK. But the nightmare of staying in trashed and fetid surroundings is too difficult to overlook.
Beautiful rooms and great location. Shopping is fabulous!!
One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Vegas hotel. Horrible rooms, apathetic management, and an unsanitary environment make this the "Must Miss" of the Strip. Move along, people, nothing to see here.
Nothing more than a Motel 6 with a view. Only Motel 6 is cleaner and a better value.
Things a potential customer needs to know about PH: the rooms are filthy, the furniture is in grave need of repair, the carpets in the hallways are filthy (sometimes with dried vomit, as was the case outside of my room), and the desk staff could not care less about helping customers. And do you need some laundry done? Well be prepared to have to go downstairs and wait in three lines in order to pick it up. That's correct, they do not deliver laundry to the room. You will go to the BellDesk, pick up a bill and then stand in the extremely long check-in line to pay for that bill. After waiting for 30 minutes to pay that bill you will have to stand in line at the bell desk once again to pick up your laundry. If you are looking for a clean hotel to enjoy a wonderful Vegas vacation, try elsewhere. If you are looking for a hotel that is barely passable, stay elsewhere. But if you are looking for a place that will treat you like garbage, this is the place for you.
The hotel has a young and hip vibe, it was aesthetically pleasing, and the music throughout was awesome. However, we wanted to dance and there were no clubs open, it was a Wednesday. We overheard one employee speaking to another and they said club Prive lost their liquor license. But next time we take a trip to Vegas were staying here because there were a lot more people our age, late twenties.
Pushy guest service employees. Went here to gamble a little and wad hounded and almost stalked by guest service employees trying to convince us to change hotels. We stayed at the Venetian and after being hound at planet Hollywood I am grateful we only stayed for a little bit.
All I can say is love the pleasure pit!!!!!! Planet Hollywood is my favorite
One of the softest poker games in town. Very few regulars. I've enjoyed playing here on a couple of occassions now.
Great budget property-none better in terms of location, amenities and price. Rooms are spotless, and the $20 trick has got me a larger room with fountain view twice now. Casino has everything u want, except $5 craps on weekdays :( Come on p-ho, you're not there yet, if Caesars can do it....anyway, great place, go soon.
Stayed here in September 2008. Loved it. Has an edgy feel from the clintel, to décor, staff, and overhead tunes. Anyplace I can eat a top notch buffet, with a fair price, while listening to The Who, I'm there.
I enjoyed my stay here. It was very nice and I love that they have a mall in this hotel. It was in the center of everything. Didn't even have to leave hotel to have fun.
Excelentes locais para comer. Hotel novo. Área da piscina muito boa.
I have stayed at this hotel and casino three times and it has been perfect everytime. Young, great beds, decent location. Candidate for most improved after transformation from Alladin. Decent rooms lousy pool, excellent beds, comparable to TI. Iprefwr TI's location a touch more though. If you are looking for a younger crowd but on strip location as opposed to Hard rock or Palms P Ho should fit the bill.
We stayed at PH over Christmas in a Deluxe ROH room overlooking the pool complex. Check in was quick at 11am on a Sunday. Our King bed was really comfy, we loved it. I liked having the shower and tub seperate, and I used the tub a few times. (I brought a travel pack of clorox wipes because ya just never know...although the tub looked clean) Our room was just a few steps from the elevator, too, which we thought was a plus. We had neighbors, but never heard them once, and we were never bothered by noise in the hall. We ordered room service once and everything was tasty (2 burgers) and prepared as requested. It only took about 20 minutes from the time I called until the food got there.
Negatives were minimal; small window with a table, chair and lamp blocking it- we moved the furniture, worn looking bedspreads, timeshare people and out of order soda machines were the extent.
Overall, we'd stay again in a heartbeat. Service was great, we got a good price and the beds are so comfortable. Convenience to dining and shopping is a definite plus, as well.
Forgot to add below that PH is the only "upscale" casino on the strip that had $5.00 craps table(s) on the weekend...at least during the day.
They also had some $5.00 table games (roulette, 3 card poker, etc...) but I didn't see $5.00 blackjack.
Still, it's nice to go to an upscale casino with low minimums to get started
While I did not stay at this hotel, my wife and I did gamble a bit at the casino and were very impressed with the new PH decor and the great dealers/pit bosses.
The dealers were friendly and funny and even though i lost a bit on the tables, I had a great time.
My wife won quite a bit (for us) on the slots and really enjoyed playing at PH. We joint the "A-list" players' club so we'll see what comes of that comps-wise in offers over the next few months.
Not sure if I would stay there (unless they replaced the beds...my wife stayed when it was the Aladdin in 2004 and said the beds were rocks) but we'll see what they offer me!
I've stayed at the Aladdin on three different occasions since it reopened. The basic room (the one you can expect if you pay the casino rate or get a couple nights free, but don't qualify for full RFB) is okay. Furnishing are decent quality, and all rooms have nice, large bathrooms. Don't expect much in the way of view, however, as most of these rooms look across the vast roof of Desert Passage towards the airport.
The "resort" rooms are larger, and have the better views. Most prized are the rooms looking out towards Bellagio. Although not quite the deal they once were, these are nicer rooms than what you find next door at the Paris.
Many people complain about the layout, but once you get used to it, its not bad. The walk from the elevator to the room is short, and elevators arrive quickly.
The pool is adequate, but not spectacular. My impression is that they are understaffed, so don't expect fast drink service.
Overall, if you want a nice room in a great location, but don't want to pay Bellagio rates, this is a good choice.
Bill Timmins is nothing more then a RIGHT WING NAZI for kicking Linda Ronstadt out of his hotel for exercising her right to Freedom of Speech.
Don't stay here unless you are a like minded NAZI..
We have been staying at the Aladdin for the last 3 years. We have received excellent rooms, comps are fantastic, probably won't stay anywhere else.
I go to Vegas 5 times a year and usually stay at the Aladdin. Join the players club and every quarter, they send you a flier with special rates. Otherwise, expensive. Make sure you trat yourself and have dinner at the Spice Market Buffet. The best dinner buffet in Vegas.
Stayed 3 nights and found the hotel nice and clean. Bathroom was small but was clean. The casino was spacious and the machines very tight. The mall within the aladdin was excellent and the best part. The buffet was overpriced however the food was very good. The location on the strip was very good however we did not have a view of the fountains. Ask for a room with a view if possible. The pool was unique but small. We enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this hotel to anyone as we will stay there again.
stayed 6 days / 5 nights may 2004 had a great time. Standard room king bed, was nice. Hotel casino host was wonderful, just use a host and not the club aladdin desk clerk, casino host can do more for you. check in and out was fast and nice. used valet serice once since i rented a car for a day, they have a avis on site. every hotel room is only about 5 door away from elevators unlike other strip hotels, and the check in / lobby is not in the casino which makes checking in and out nicer. hotel layout take about a day to understand. Returning jan 2005 for 3 nights.
We stated in a Resort Vista Suite. Overall i had a nice stay. The location is great. I believe the cost was a little high, after i compaied prices. Only complaint is the beds are rock hard.
The casino itself was nothing special. The casino staff went over frindly.
I wish the hotel had managment who really believe in customer care. The Aladdin had the worst service I have ever had. Rude, Rude, Rude...nobody really cares if you have a problem or not. The romm was nice, but the walls were thina nd you could here the other people in the other room. There are toooo many place to stay in L.V.
as the owner of a travel agency, i try and research properties first hand so that i can better accomodate my clients. i stayed at the aladdin 8/17-8/22/04. what a wonderful trip. from the front desk staff to the housekeeping dept. all were more than efficient. the room was kepr immaculate the entire week. called hk to get a clothes rack to hang additional clothing on, and it arrived approx. 10 minutes later. the safe had been locked and i ask for someone to open it...less than 10 minutes for that. very prompt and courteous.the casino staff and cocktail waitresses were very friendly. the aladdin has a great comp system... one of the best i have ever seen. location on strip is perfect. i would highly recommend this great property to all of my clients. we will be putting a group together for march 05 for this property. oasisvacations@atlanticbb.net if interested!!
Have stayed at the Aladdin a few times and will be going again in October. Excellent value for the money, great comps.
I've been staying at the Aladdin for the past two years (Vegas frequent visitor for eight) and I absolutely love it. As a college student (24, and yes I've been going to Vegas since 16) the room rates here can't be beat for its location, luxury, and complete experience. The room has a wonderful king bed (though if you get a two queen bed room you will lose a bit of foot space) with four pillows which are a little too soft and squishy (if you lie firm pillows I recommend you bring your own). The room decor is elegant and comfortable. I love the bathroom though, two can fit into the shower, but the nozzle on the shower head is light in the amount of water it produces, and the bathtub is just too much fun (and yes, two can fit quite nicely). It's nice having the seperate toilet, but the light switches always seem to baffle me. THe soap has a nice spicy scent, but the packaging isn't attractive. It will get you nice and clean, and really, isn't that what matters after a late night of partying? Maid service seems to start promptly at eight so put you privacy sign in the key slot. They don't seem to knock, but will apologetically go away once they know you are inside. I've always thought the service at the front desk was impeccable. They are quick, efficient, and always pleasant; even when it comes to getting hard tickets they go out of their way. Valet (well, really all valet) is a waste of time, but if you don't want to drag your luggage through the shops, go for it. My main complaint is the pool(s). Two matching ones flanking the spa/fitness center, they are pretty sorry (4 feet deep, I think). The bathing area is sad too with the large spa facility blocking out the afternoon sun. You have to pay (even as a guest) for the fitness facilities. Still, I love this resort, you can spend your entire time here and never leave.
Had a good time here! Bathroom was AWSOME!
Just don't play Single deck Blackjack w/ 6to5 payout!

stayed here september 2003 did not have to wait to check-in, got a free room upgrade enquired about a view and got fantastic view of eiffel tower/bellagio fountains. room was large is size & the bathroom was superb. was also happy with pool areas read a lot of poor reviews and was suprised they had 2 large pools with cocktail service. location also good within easy waking distance of either south or central strip areas. this is my 2nd trip out to vegas and i would certainly stay at the aladdin again.
Had a Standard Room that was much larger than other standards on the Strip and for a better price. The Bathrooms were GREAT! Separate showers and tub and a private 'stink room' for the john. Decor was decent in the room and if you wanted to spend $10 a day, you could check your email or read casino reviews in between gaming. Wonder what it'll be like after Planet Hollyweird takes over.
The room is larger than normal, but there is no reason why it costs as much as it does. I would choose this place over some of the MGM Mirage properties due to the larger rooms, but there is simply not that much special about the rooms. The bathroom is large. Water pressure is wanting, but this is typical in large hotels. I really didn't like the toiletries they gave out. Parking is hell since you have to walk a really long way to the lobby and casino. ALWAYS valet park here unless you just want to go shopping. Valet is not the fastest either. Never saw the pool. The service is really nice though. The staff really goes beyond the call of duty here.
Do not know how to put it in words but here I go..."WOW" I could just live in the baths room at the Aladdin. I mean all of them. I became spoiled by the ones in the lobby through out the place and the one in my room was a dream. We us pictures of it and the view from it as background pictures all over the net. The Service was great and these people can comp like no ones business. We are planning more trips to Vegas and it will be hard to go any where else.
Although Hunter can't stand the jewels on the columns in the hotel, I sort of liked them. I loved my stay at Aladdin. I had a standard room with a view of the Harley Davidson Cafe and south. The view would have been better in the other wing as it would look at the Bellagio fountiain. But the window was small and not really comfortable for viewing.
I was in love with the bathroom with a big, deep, soaking tub. They even include some spiced smelling bath gel as part of their beauty supplies. I didn't think I was ever going to get out of the bathtub and back into the casino.
The room was comfortable and the geek in my loved the high speed internet access from the room. The pool was a major disappointment, but because it's not a high priority for me, I highly recommend this hotel. There are good deals to be had before the new people purchase and potentially mess up this property.
Enjoy!

I stayed Aladdin for 2 nights. I reserved Resort Vista room, and upon check-in, I received an upgrade to Endcap suite for no extra charge. It was a great room offering 180 degree view with big screen TV, marble bath with deep tub and separate shower. This hotel was just so perfect. The location is perfect, and the stuff were very friendly. This was the best place in Las Vegas so far.
Very nice hotel. I had very good service and had no problems while here. Rooms and bathroom were cleaned each day. Room service was also good. I`am staying here in June 03.I asked for a room close to the elevators, and got it. By playing slots here,or hotel troubles as some one stated. My room rate was $39.00 per night this year (weekday ),down from $119.00 last year. Can`t beat that price for a trouble hotel in these rooms.
Do they hire anyone nice or competent to work their front desk? That was the only problem we had, but the assistant manager made it up to us. The large (1255sf) suites are worth every penny! We got a 35th Fl Bellagio view for our wedding reception and it was magnificent! I just love that place. The Bellmen are great, Valet's great, Housekeeping is very good and got all 3 rooms done early each day. We had a huge mess from the party and they refused to give up trash bags to clean up-they did it all without a moments hesitation. Ofcourse we tipped the attendant well for great service. The food is good everyplace we ate. I'll be back often.
The Aladdin is having some financial trouble. Because of that, you can get rooms in this $1.2 billion resort for a lot less than what you would expect. For all of its problems, the rooms are well designed. They are large and well appointed. Check the Aladdin for some good deals - you won't be disappointed.
Stayed here in September 2000 and it was great there were a few teething problems with fire alarms going off one night but service was great and room lovely. the only thing that alarmed me was one night I had been drinking and by mistake put my key into a wrong room and it opened it !!
Was given a complimentary upgrade to an orchid room on the top floor -
an oversized single room with king bed and view of south strip &
Bellagio. Bathroom was nice - large soaking tub (not a jacuzzi), flat-
screen TV over vanity, marble surfaces.
In-room computer terminal didn't work and bathroom hair dryer wasn't
working. I called housekeeping about the dryer, and they replaced it with
another dryer that only worked on low setting.
Check-in was swift and friendly, and the room was generally
comfortable and spacious. Would definitely return to Aladdin.

Had a great vacation here. The buffet was fantastic as well. Probably Vegas's least busiest. We were upgraded, for free, to a Jacuzzi suite because they were underbooked. Totally enjoyable stay that I recommend to everyone. Small sports bar though. Pool was nice and not crowded. Wish it was on the ground level though instead of having to take an elevator to the rooftop. I'd definitely stay again.
The room had old faded bedspreads, burnes by cigarattes coils, had to request change of room and offered a handicapped room, which ended been even worse, requested change for the 3rd time, and finally ok.
Do they know about softener for towells and sheets , nnnnnnoooooo! enden up with the dermatologist for sandin my skin with teh towels. I wouldnt return. The only good thing was the buffet.
Got a resort room and was very happy with bathroom. Separate water closet, soak tub, double vanity, marble, separate shower with place to sit, etc. Not happy with maid trying to barge in our room and NOT happy for being charged 4.95 per bottle of water which we did NOT consume. They charged us for two bottles. As I have read, this has happened to a number of guests and happened to us as well. Casino nice but overall just doesn't scream "come back to me" Would go back if I got a good deal possibly.
I have been to the Aladdin twice and this is the only place I will stay at in Vegas.
The service I have recieved has been top notch. I hear people touting about the service at the Bellagio, but since I am younger (25), they seem to look down there noses at me. Check in has always been extremely fast for me and both occasions I have stayed here, they allowed me to check in extremely early (6 am).
The rooms are well appointed and spacious. The closest space was adequate for my short trips (3 days), but if you are staying longer, you may have some problems. The beds were comfortable and clean. Maids cleaned daily and re-stocked ample supply of towels. The bathrooms were luxurious and very large. Seperate shower and deep soaking tub and seperate toilet (I don't realize why more properties don't do this). If you are able to get a suite, you will be even more amazed with the bathroom with the LARGE deep soaking tub and double vanity. Bathrooms were marble with great fixtures. Only complaint is the toiletries could have been a little fancier, but I bring my own with me anyway.
When I am in Vegas, I don't really want to spend that much time in my room, I want to be out and about and having fun. But, when I am exhausted I want my room to be a relaxing haven, and the rooms at the Aladdin accomplish just that.
We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and everyone from cashiers to managers were nice. If you think about it, it takes alot to put up with the public. I loved the Hotel!!! We upgraded to a Resort Vista Room (1480), over looking the fountains 3 huge windows in the bedroom, and one above the sunk in bathtub. It had a wonderful view of the fountains.
Great room, but service was mediocre.
We stayed for a week. Because the only rooms left were smoking, and we requested non-smoking, the hotel accomodated us by upgrading us to a suite. In either case, the rooms were well-appointed, spacious and comfortable. The pool is disappointing, however. The patio for the pool area is scenic but the pool itself is a typical rectangular crowded pool and deck.
The casino has a very open design, with high ceilings, open up to three stories tall. One of the nicest casinos on the strip. Not smokey, nice setting.
Nice bar area with live music that overlooks the Casino below.
Highly recommended
Spent five days there in August. It was great! Staff was friendly, casino slots were loose, food was excellent, desert passages was a great shopping area. Overall, just a wonderful week. We recommend it highly to anyone.
WE DIDNT STAY AT THE ALADDIN BUT VISITED THE CASINO AND MALL. THE CASINO WAS VERY TACKY FOR SUCH AN EXPENSIVE HOTEL. SEVERAL OF THE CHEAP JEWEL DECORATIONS ON THE COLUMNS WERE EITHER STOLEN OR FALLING OFF AND THE CASINO HAD A VERY MONO-TONE COLOR THEME. THE SPORTS BOOK WAS AMONG THE SMALLEST IV'E SEEN AND THE DESSERT PASSAGE WAS BORING. WE DID EAT BREAKFAST ONE MORNING THERE AND WAITED FOREVER FOR OUR FOOD. SERVICE WAS POOR.
Just visited Labor Day weekend 2001. The room was average size/quality, but the bathroom was superb (sunken tub, for those of you who like to soak). Biggest drawback to the room was a tiny window (disturbing for those used to the full-size windows at similar hotels. Might not go back for that reason.
We had an excellent stay there in May and are going back in October.
very nice place not very crowded friendly people very good sunday brunch and breakfast buffet at the spice market very large bathrooms and above arverage room sizean overall nice hotel just getting a bad rap.
Stayed for 1 week in June.Friendly and helpful staff with exception of pool staff who acted as if you were an intruder rather than a guest. Gaming is good, buffet is the best I have experienced in my 20 trips to Vegas. If you have to stay on the strip this is the place.
I loved everything about the Aladdin!! My room was great, the Desert Passage was truly spectacular and the London Club is the best casino in Vegas. Dont miss it, Im going back in August.
Tiny closet space in room. Large, luxurious bathroom. No bellmen to be found at checkin or checkout. VERY inconvenient and long walk from parking deck to casino and/or room, through Desert Passage mall, makes valet parking essential.
