Benihana @ Las Vegas Hotel or LVH (formerly Hilton) was my first experience with this kind of dining and this location did not disappoint. I did online reservations, and we were seated right away. Food was spectacular. French Onion Soup was good, but the salad that followed was amazing. The ginger dressing was out of my Bleu cheese wheelhouse and surprisingly knocked my socks off. The Hibachi Steak (new York strip sliced & cooked med rare) was melt in your mouth goodness. Leo the chef who cooked on the grill right at our table was very entertaining and skillful. He had just the right mix of funny quips and creative cooking. Very enjoyable meal. Only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 was our waitress, who, as soon as we told her we had time limits, turned slow as molasses and gave attitude at every request. Even so, I will def return to Benihana's at LVH! =)
This restaurant was a good experience. It is your typical Japanese style restaurant/show, but the food is better.
Great Experience! Me and the wife Love The Las Vegas Hilton. Go every March. Love the SportBook the best.
After a kickass performance of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band by Cheap Trick we went in search of dinner. I had never been to a Benihana before so why not? Service was great by our waiter. Real mixed group of people at our grill but I think that is half the fun of the concept. The food was pretty good, a notch above take-out. But the entertainment value was off the charts. Our Chef was skillful and funny, overall a great time.
Beautiful Japanese-village setting and great food, as in any Benihana's. My wife and I were unlucky to be seated at the same station as a group of obnoxious, drunken frat boys, but that's just the luck of the draw. Definitely not a quiet, intimate place to eat but if you've been to a Benihana's before, you know not to expect that. Food was outstanding and service was great.
Thanks for making the world a more open space.
Not cheap... It is like any other Benihana you've been to. It is fun to have them cook at the table.
I'm not a fan of the Benihana chain or concept, however, the Japanese Village set-up here is unique and attractive.
Food was pretty good, but very overpriced. The Japanese steak house in my home town is better and costs less.
