Great off strip buffet. Not upscale but good quality with lots of selections.
We had a voucher for 2 for 1 at the breakfast buffet and with the players card discount we ended up paying about $12 in total for 4 of us. Could not believe the quality of the food at the price we paid. Huge choice Good quality food and service was fine . It was worth the trip from the strip ! I also love the Red Rock Canyon casino as a place of calm away from the Vegas madness .
Great selection and cuisine.
Breakfast is So So. After eating here twice, I'm not impressed at all. Service is great, but I'm just not interested in Buffet food. I don't eat enough to make it worth my money. The meals I've eaten there are breakfasts, though, so this is not a commentary on their lunch or Dinner menu's.
This place started out great and has been slowly been rolling downhill as Red Rock finishes up it's first six months of business.
The food is of lesser quality than it was in the first month or two, and the service quality is real mixed. I've had workers at the desert section expect me to tell them where on their server table the desert I want is. Ask for a slice of pie/cake and watch as they point out various pies and cakes on their tables and expect you to gesture their way to the one you want, assuming you know what it looks like.
That said, a discounted buffet is one of the most common comps Station gives to locals, and this buffet in particular has been giving out quite a few discounts recently, so the result is a real wait to get in.
We finally gave the Feast at the Red Rock a try last night and were very disappointed. Our favorite buffet has always been Green Valley Ranch and figuring this was the upscale station's project we were antisipating something wonderful. There were no crab legs which we love the shrimp you had to peel yourself. The reg food was mediocre. You can find food like this at any of the cheaper casinos around town. The wait staff was awful we almost had to trip the busboy to get a refill. So it's back to GVR for us!!
The Feast Buffet at red rock was really good. I ate on the first day that it opened, and it has been makind great strides to improve. The arangement and selection of food is similar to that of Wynn, just cheaper :). The service was also good; our server was attentive and always cheeking on us.
