Went for a late breakfast and experienced lousy service and food. Ordered a Vegas favorite, loco moco, and received a hamburger with canned gravy atop day old steamed rice that was overcooked to the point of being crunchy. Friend's omelet was meh. Pass.
Never fails. Even the all day breakfast options are awesome.
Classless a-holes work as servers at this place, something odd is going on w/ management when menus keep changing and the wine list always stays passé
The food is good. Service is always slow because they are busy at peak hours.
We ate supper here later in the evening. Both service and food were wonderful. Waitress was very nice and came to our table often. We bought half price coupons for $3.00 a piece at tickets 4 tonight and received half price entrées.
Another must every trip. Tried the bananas foster waffles this time. It was good but not better than The Creme brûlée French toast but not really fair to compare. Might have to go back.
Honestly it's probably best place to go after midnight on strip after midnight for u tweekers or coming down pardiers
An average breakfast. Nothing spectacular but plenty of food. Had the pancakes with warm peaches and whipped cream, which were good. The brioche French toast was good as well.
Had the Bananas Foster Creme Breule French toast and it was a-mazing! Again, Planet Dailies does not disappoint. It's a must on our trips. Soooooo good.
Service wasn't the greatest. Food was alright.
Service was spotty (refills of our diet Pepsis were actually Dr Pepper and it took an act of God for us to get straws) but I can forgive many sins for Cinnamon Roll French toast. This is why bread was invented.
I went for breakfast twice during my stay in January. Service was slow both times even though they had plenty of servers. The food was average for a coffee house of this style. It's convenient if you are staying here and has plenty of seating so no wait to get in.
The food is okay. Over the years the food and service have been inconsistent. It has been convenient when I've stayed at Planet Hollywood but otherwise I wouldn't have gone back after my first visit. On our last trip my husband ordered a bloody mary. The waiter asked if he wanted a top shelf vodka and my husband replied, "It doesn't matter." meaning he didn't want the fancy stuff. I know the waiter knew what he meant but charged for the premium vodka to inflate the bill and his tip. I guess you need to say specific words (like house or well) in order to not be taken advantage of and that is sad. Next time I stay at Planet Hollywood I'll make the short trip next door to Le Cafe at Paris for a superior experience.
Food was ok for a late dinner. No wow factor for me.
Very good sandwiches, reasonable prices, clean restaurant. Above average 24 hour cafe.
Great food plus we bought a coupon at those discount kiosks!
I love this place. It has become a staple of our visits. So many great options both healthy and not so healthy. All the French toast is dipped in a crème Brule batter. I think you see were I'm going with this.
One of our regular favorites - we always eat here at least once during our Vegas trips, and usually for breakfast. Had the filet mignon Benedict, which was awesome as usual. Our waiter was very friendly - the only thing keeping me from giving the 5th star was a speed of service.
We had 2 breakfasts and a lunch here. Food and service were very good. Staff was friendly and efficient. I recommend trying their different benedicts. The Southwest Benedict with chorizo and ranchero hollandaise is to die for, if you like spicy food. Price wise, think big city/ resort hotel and they are right in line.
We had supper here and loved our food. We stopped and asked a local where to eat because we were unimpressed with our prior meals. We were so happy we came here. The prices were also very surprising. Great food for not too bad price!!
Surprised with all these high ratings. Breakfast was not worth what we paid and the service was incredibly slow. Went again for late dinner as other restaurants in PH were closed. Ordered grilled chicken with spaghetti and mixed green salad. Chicken came out on a separate dish by itself, spaghetti in a big bowl, server forgot salad and brought it out near the end of the meal with wrong dressing. My boyfriend had a Reuben sandwich. We paid $60 no alcohol. I was so disappointed. Will not go back unless totally desperate!
Pretty standard diner fare with good service and prices.
Great spot to eat! Get the chicken and waffle. To die for!
Great stop for breakfast as well as post drinking binge, especially if you are staying at P-Ho. Food is slightly overpriced but not totally out of line.
Eaten here a half dozen times. Never had bad food or service. Always excellent and the waitresses are usually really cute in their little dresses. Wife likes it better than I.
I really like the burgers here but u can't really ruin a burger unless ur burger king.. I like that planet Hollywood has coupons all over the place for everything so I reccommend it for good food good portion for good price
Very disapointed on breakfast. Service bad. Had to wait for drinks. Prices VERY high for breakfast and portions not equal to price. Second in house restraurant disapointed in.
Went there twice on my trip last week. The food is really good and the first time the service was really good. We decided to go a second time and had mediocre service. Food took forever and drinks kept running dry.
What a great spot for breakfast!
Brilliant for breakfasts if your staying at planet Hollywood. Good food, excellent service.
A modern take on the coffee shop found in every casino. Planet Dailies has a much larger menu than most cafes on the Strip, featuring Asian and Latin cuisine in addition to the usual burgers, sandwiches, and breakfast fare.
Lots of flat screen TVs scattered around, which is great if there's a game you're keeping an eye on.
Great coffee and desserts!
I've eaten at Planet Dailies a few times, mostly out of convenience since I was staying at Planet Hollywood. I don't think I will go there again. The food and service are inconsistent. Breakfast is served until 11am which is sometimes hard to make after a night in Vegas. This past trip my boyfriend ordered a Bloody Mary and the server asked if he preferred a particular vodka (I assumed that meant premium vs. house) my boyfriend stated he didn't care. When we received the bill we were charged for a premium vodka. I guess when my boyfriend said he didn't care the server took it upon himself to decide.
Awesome breakfast!
Lobster omlette is amazing! It's filled with sun dried tomatoes, a cream got cheese style sauce, asperigus, and a lot of lobster tail! Service could have been a little faster.
This is a very nice little restaurant. We enjoyed breakfast here every night we stayed at Planet Hollywood. I highly recommend the cinnamon roll, creme brûlée dipped French toast. It is awesome but beware of sugar overload. Many options, healthy as well as the former.
Better than what most hotels have. Food can be a bit over priced but is good. Go to breakfast it is better than their lunch and dinner menus.
As far as coffee shops go, this one is a real winner. Tasty food, decent service and good prices.
Unfortunately, the profile for this hotel hasn't been updated in a while and some of the information is old. This cafe is now named Planet Dailies.
This cafe has HDTVs all over the place tuned to the likes of ESPN, so if you want to see a sporting event or something but your group doesn't agree or you don't want to live in a sports book all day, it's an alright place for that purpose. The menu could be improved, though. It's heavy on the fattening stuff, so dieters and veggie-lovers will find very few choices. Too bad, the menu at this location in it's Aladdin era was more varied than it is now.
Also, about a third of the TVs in the cafe itself run a video loop advertising the cafe, the other third runs some sort of Extra video reel advertising different Vegas ad PH stuff, and the other third run sports. I'm already in the coffee shop/hotel, so how about putting up business news or something instead of looping footage of cheeseburgers and panned views of the dining room I'm sitting room?
Oh, and did I mention they completely forgot about our order and brought it only after we saw several people who arrived after us get food and finally broke down and complained? Yikes.
This place has great serverice, but the menu has been taken over by Planet Hollywood. I used to love to fried mozarella, but that was not found on the menu anymore. They also used to have the BEST milkshakes anywhere, but now they seem like come from a machine and are not handmade. I also think the prices have gone up for everything. I ordered a Pink's hot dog and it was 12.95, where here at the orig Pinks in L.A., it would be about 5 dollars. My wife had bacon and eggs and it was 10.95.
Average service, more selection than many of the places in town.
Friendly service, the food is very nice. My husband and I have made a tradition of eating our first meal in Vegas here. I love the Emperor's Feast wich is pleanty for two to share. I've never had to wait long and the servers always check in on you and are ready to refill or get you whatever you need at the drop of a hat. The water is awful though (as is most resteraunts in Vegas) but the mixed drinks are lovely.
It's ok. Would I write home about it, no. The food is, hey let's go to the buffet. The service was, hey the buffet is just down stairs. Get the point. But when it's 3am and you are looking for a quick sandwich, Denny's is just down the street.
Very average 24 hour coffee shop... The orange juice was not fresh... I might go back, but in general much better food can be had elsewhere.
This is an overprized Denni"s type restaurant.
The food is kind of cold and i bet they make it at noon and seats all day waiting for customers who didnt make it to the buffet, or that are lazy to go to Dennis next door.
Dont be lazy, go to denni"s.
OK food, but prices were high even by Vegas standards!
Excellent quality, nice selection, friendly staff.
Portions are large enough to share. Lots of fresh ingredients.
Try the cinnamon french toast or the fruit french toast - it'll make sure you have a good experience!
