Wynn..Wynn.. Wynn.............it's only about the Wynn now.I'm already sick of it an I have to see the place yet.Enough!!And besides that,I've heard that is not that much of place,Bellagio still ruling in term of beautiness and services.Bellagio took 5 years to be built,Wynn only 2.The place sucks,I'm sure.Wynn, you lose.

Gaming Today's public website announced the change in head of Wynn Las Vegas' Sports Book. I'm surprised the change happened so soon after opening, but the article is favorable about Wynn.
Andrew, it did NOT take five years to build Bellagio. The Dunes was imploded five years before Bellagio opened; however, Wynn didn't even announce his original concept (Beau Rivage) for the property until a year after the implosion, and I believe you didn't actually see a structure going up on the site until like early '96. It probably took about the same amount of time to build as Wynn's new place did.
I don't understand how you have such a negative impression of the place without even having set foot inside it. I do prefer Bellagio; however, I hardly think that the new place "sucks." And, FWIW, I think Bellagio was hyped far more before it opened than Wynn LV was.

Well, the whole point of the story is that when Steve Wynn opened the Bellagio he was at the top of his career at Mirage resorts.Bellagio was the natural and final evolution from GN,Mirage,TI.
Steve Wynn opened Wynn Las Vegas just because he did not wanted to stay out of the Strip biz.Steve Wynn is just a little fish now, compared to MGM's future plans.Ok he can build beautiful places and so,but he's out,he's done.Wynn Las Vegas will NOT change the face of the Strip, neither will start a new trend.
Anyway,I can't wait to see the place.
