One of my favorite Vegas sites, VegasTripping.com, has a great interview posted with Nick of the Las Vegas Casino Deathwatch.
It's a great read - I encourage you to check it out and also to bookmark/RSS subscribe/whatever to VegasTripping - you'll love their stuff!

Goodbye to the Boardwalk!
Thanks. How have I missed Vegas Tripping all these years? I especially like the review of THEhotel. I'll stick with Wynn!
The Starwood Hotel group has secured some pre-development financing for "W Las Vegas" on the Harmon Corridor. This should be a classy joint when completed. - And the recent financing for 'W" could be encouragement to go ahead for the remaining partners of "Las Ramblas".
If both projects are built (and the Hard Rock finishes their massive project), the Harmon Corridor will be a hot area leading right into Project City Center.
If Harrahs waits too long with their plans for the IP, Flamingo, Ballys, etc. Their hotels won't be just 'mid-level' they'll look like they belong downtown.
