VegasTodayandTomorrow.com has an update on the Jockey Club. It will be renovated at Cosmopolitan's expense as part of a deal reached when Jockey Club permitted Cosmopolitan to build on its parking lot. The report says Jockey Club has more than 14,000 owners. This sure is a Win for the tired, old Jockey Club.

The best renovation for this place is a good ol' implosion!
Here's to that! I am not sure any amount of money in the world could make that place tolorable! They would have been better off, leveling it, and givig each owner, a new room, in what could have been a much larger and better Cosmo. Cause that place looks pretty tight now!
VT&T last night posted an updated pic of the construction zone between Monte Carlo and Bellagio......you can blow it up and it looks cool....see the main tower at City Center coming out of the ground, the massive parking garage that has been constructed next to Bellagio, and the Cosmo site looking......well, the same as it has for the past year :)
Yeah, I saw that Cosmo construction pic today also. I wouldn't be surprised to see PCC and Encore open before Cosmo. It's been under construction for almost a year now, and they still havent even started digging the hole??? Give me a freaking break!
Hi Brian Fey. I've been wondering about Cosmopolitan's status, too. It looks like it's moving forward without problems. I was at Bellagio the day the temporary sales office opened. I was quite impressed with the developer's history and the project. Cosmo is in an ideal location.
I found an article on a commercial real estate site. It sure is an ambitious project for such a narrow strip of property.

Cosmo is coming along. There was a lot of site prep work they were doing. Check out this link which includes recent pictures of foundation work. (Post #610) Some earlier threads on that forum provided a couple news updates from Cosmo to owners. Some interesting stuff there.

It looks like Jockey Club has gone with a bellagio paint job instead of cosmo glass.
