An interesting story in the most recent 'Eye on Vegas' talks about how Tao at The Venetian is adding butler service to their VIP offerings.
Butlers have long been available for high end casino guests but as far as I know, this is a nightclub first and should be quite popular.
Expect this to become a trend.

Interesting and sure to catch on, but it is a bit of a gimmick. Most the things you'd use the butler for the security and/or the host would already do for you. White gloves makes all the difference.
Butler service? It's ridiculous. In fact, the white gloves remind me of Mickey Mouse, and that's what I think of the concept.
It sounds stupid to me, but when you're drunk and / or on drugs and / or have more money than intelligence, why not I say! The guy in the pictures looks a little scary, but I'm sure that comes in handy when you need someone to push everyone else aside while you make a mad dash for the toilets.
Here is the first bit that I have read in regards to rumors about anything at Encore in relation to clubs or restaurants. It is in the last paragraph of Xania's nightlife column in the Las Vegas Weekly.
