Two Way Hard Three Wins VegasTripping.com Trippy Award - Thanks!

I am happy to report that this blog was the winner for the 'Editor's Choice' for 'Best Blog'. We didn't win the people's award but at least it's someone I know - Steve over at EverythingLV.com.

I just started visiting the site and catching up on the podcasts (listening to one now in fact). I love what you're doing. Keep up the fantastic, extensive and hard work! I'm sure I speak for everyone saying we appreciate it.

That page was an... Interesting read. I agree with him that Riviera is a bigger blotch on the Strip than Circus-Circus. I can at least play some machines at Tropicana when I want to, but the Riviera is nasty. And even the sixty-something folks who turned off the lights at Stardust and rode off into retirement kept the place cleaner in it's final weeks than I've EVER seen the Riv.
The love affair with Wynn I don't understand quite so much, but I believe it's a combination of going there so much and my local's sense of shame at spending $6 on a $3.25 bag of potato chips that prevents me from ever properly enjoying myself there.
Congrats Hunter, well deserved too, while its nice to be recognized by the public at large its not too sniffy to be recognized by your peers, and what a write up they did on you, daily reading eh??

Hunter, you deserved more awards. I went through all the Trippies and realized I haven't set foot inside Circus Circus in 20 years. I don't think I've missed anything. Whatever posessed the Trippies to use purple print on a black background? Not exactly reader-friendly.
Sweet... I guess the plebes don't quite 'get it' yet, but it's nice to see that those 'in the know' are recognizing your efforts, as well as those of your regular contributors (detroit & the mikes, et al)
Keep up the 'good work' and I will continue to 'praise' the site everywhere I go! :)
