The word is that Tom McCartney is out as president of Tropicana Las Vegas. Not a lot of details... More to come.

Nikki Beach out, Gladys Knight out, Brad Garrett leaving..all are getting out of Trop fast!

I wonder if The Trop has raised it's white flag?

Not only did McCartney resign but The Las Vegas Mob Experience might be a thing of the past, Nikki Beach was seized from it's original backers, Glady's Knight's show is coming to an abrupt end and just today, Brad Garret announced he is moving his Comedy Club to The MGM Grand. Sounds like rats abandoning a sinking ship.

I was given a media tour back in July and I was very impressed with The New Trop and made some wonderful PR contacts. I reached out to them for some media stuff to put in my Casino Player column and since October 1st, no emails have been returned.

It sure seems that way... They went from triumphant example of a re-do done right to implosion-city in about a year.
