Interesting piece by Howard Stutz and something I've wondered about too. Will Nevada miss a chance to be the center of the online gaming universe in the US?

A question too long for twitter:
Why don't agencies like PPA use money to implement Rove-esque tactics of identifying problem politicians and exposing their "conflict of interest". It's no secret that in Texas politics, largely conservative republicans and YES conservative democrats, the public face of this debate or morality and bible while the back room truth is campaign contributions flow from Louisiana, Oklahoma, Colorado and New Mexico (hell, maybe Vegas too?) to keep Texas free of poker and other gaming. Since the formation of the PPA, poker rights have seemed to go backwards. Why not a new tact?
